Sponsorship opportunities

There is now an ongoing demand for the game throughout the UK.

The evaluation copies have been distributed, and additionally agencies are requesting more training and the introduction of the game into new areas such as Family Centres and Voluntary Organisations.

Following the initial commercial production of the complete game in May 2005, there is now a requirement for the game to be produced in sufficient numbers to satisfy this growing UK demand. To enable us to fulfill these objectives, we are actively seeking a partnership sponsor who would view this as a valuable opportunity to give support to the games' production, profile and future developments.

How could your company benefit from sponsoring the game?

We firmly believe there would be numerous high profile corporate and public relations opportunities available to any sponsor of the Think B4U Drink board game.

We will of course be pleased to discuss these and consider all and any suggestions made by a potential sponsor on how they could take full advantage of their sponsorship in its own context and/or allied to their own ongoing corporate strategy.

Opportunities include:

  • Co-branding with Think B4U Drink on the game, its packaging and components.
  • Similarly on the game user instructions, documentation and support materials.
  • Appearance on the Think B4U Drink dedicated website, with corporate information and links.
  • Co-branding on all advertising and media activity whether initiated jointly or independently (local, regional and national TV have already requested coverage).
  • Corporate use by the sponsor in all public relations initiatives.

Game copyright

The copyright and intellectual property rights for the Think B4U Drink board game and associated project activities are currently being secured by NHS Grampian and ownership will be registered to the Grampian Think B4U Drink Committee, as managers of the project.

Our proposals, are based on sponsorship of the Think B4U Drink project being in the form of a "co-branding" platform with the sponsor and is not restrictive outwith copyright and IPR considerations.

A 3 year development programme

The Grampian Think B4U Drink Committee are fully committed to gaining sponsorship funding and developing the Think B4U Drink board game for a further 3 years. The development plan, based on this funding being forthcoming, identifies the main points of focus for the period:

  • Continuing multi-media developments.

Ongoing Developments

  • Consolidation of the application of all developments from the game within a refresher training context.
  • Full evaluation of the project, continued game development in to other media and policy development.

Future developments

Following Phase 1 production, distribution, development and evaluation, it is planned to look and explore the potential for extending both the game and key support elements in to a multi-media environment. This is currently under way with the development of a dedicated TB4UD website.

On and off-line resources in electronic format will create swift access by individuals and bodies to information and support materials and allow for more effective ongoing updates to content.

Key game developments for consideration will include:

  • Production of all game guidelines and support material in electronic formats.
  • Development of the dedicated Think B4U Drink website.
  • Online open and secure information resources and forums.
  • Further development of the website to allow for online and individual or multi-user/site gaming.
  • CD and DVD formats with user interactivity.
